Everyone is talking about ChatGPT. Of course, it is the best technological innovation we have witnessed in 2022, which is going to impact 2023 massively. We have seen the buzz it has caused online. Almost every day, OpenAI is trending due to its powerful tool AI chatbot ChatGPT. Do we know how it works? Have we understood the nitty-gritty of it? OpenAI started as a nonprofit research company that came up with ChatGPT Chatbot, which is an AI technology gaining world recognition. This is because of its usage of AI to produce conversational text. Elon Musk is one of its co-founders, before resigning due to a conflict of interest. ChatGPT it’s not the only product for OpenAI. There are other products like DALL-E, GPT-3, OpenAI Five, and OpenAi Codex.

OpenAI has invested a lot in the use of AI for content generation, summarization, analysis, Data extraction, and many more. The company’s core goal is to come up with AI solutions. They are focused on endpoint users, by providing a simple interface that is flexible and powerful. It is like a very advanced autocomplete. Therefore, ChatGPT is one of the tools that has been developed by OpenAI, which is letting users experiment with what OpenAI is coming up with. There is more to this than just ChatGPT. ChatGPT, which is OpenAI’s first commercial product, is just a prototype that was launched on November 2022. ChatGPT is based on GPT-3.5.  It uses natural language to answer questions. It is capable of translating languages too and coming up with improvised texts, making it easy for one to be able to produce any text without writing anything at all.

OpenAI not only has introduced us to ChatGPT but also had previously launched DALL-E, which is a deep learning model that can generate digital images from natural language descriptions. Through DALL-E, OpenAI has come up with Point-E, focusing on 3D modeling. Point-E can produce 3D  point clouds by the use of text prompts.

The future is AI and OpenAI is at the top of it. With all that is going on, we might see AI taking over much of the work that most creative people do, like modeling, writing blogs, programming, designing, and many more. This is just the beginning, the future is so much brighter with OpenAI.
